Our partner laboratory was founded in 2005 by a group of researchers and doctors working in Switzerland. Since the first stem cell transplant performed in 2004 following a heart attack, the belief that stem cells would represent the future of medicine has become a reality.
Our laboratory was the first biobank in Europe and is the only one in Switzerland to be FACT-NetCord and GMP certified. To date, more than 70% of transplants are performed using samples from FACT-NetCord certified banks. This certification ensures that the samples are considered safe and usable by all transplant centers worldwide.
